On June 23rd, Automotive News of the United States released the list of the top 100 global automotive parts suppliers in 2024 with great fantry. It is worth mentioning that this year, two more Chinese enterprises have made the list, namely Guoxuan High-Tech and Sanhua Auto Parts. Additionally, CATL's ranking has risen by one place and is now only behind the three traditional component giants, Bosch, ZF and Magna International. A total of 15 Chinese enterprises made the list, among which 5 were in the top 50.
This year's list data shows that the sales of most suppliers have improved year-on-year in 2023.
The global average sales of the suppliers on this year's list have increased by approximately 9% compared to 2022. In 2023, the revenue of the automotive business of 30 suppliers all exceeded 10 billion US dollars, while in 2022, there were only 27.
Bosch Group remains the world's largest automotive parts supplier. In 2023, its sales to global automakers reached 55.9 billion US dollars, up from 50.5 billion US dollars a year earlier. Zf, also from Germany, saw its automotive business sales increase by 7.6 billion US dollars year-on-year in 2023. Magna International, the largest component manufacturer in North America, achieved sales of 42.8 billion US dollars in 2023, representing a 13% increase compared to 2022.
